IN THIS LESSON

Clients who finish a full course of treatment will receive an assessment, treatment plan, therapy intervention and a relapse prevention plan. Successful therapy ends with a clear discharge

Clients need to have a GP Letter sent from the Psychologist to the GP outlining that the client has been discharged. Then reception changes the status in Halaxy to “Discharged”. This allows reports to be created to identify which clients are wait lists, active and discharged. This step-by-step video is worth revisiting. Often it can take multiple views to feel confident in a new process.

At the bottom you will find a written process document and script. Feel free to save this to your computer for future reference.

  • Download the process document to discharge clients that enables future tracking of caseloads across the clinic

  • Clients should not be discharged on Halaxy until Psychologists have sent the GP Discharge Letter. Download the script here
