More Sessions = Happier You

So, research has this clear message: more therapy sessions mean feeling better faster better. It's like leveling up in a game; the more you play (or in this case, attend therapy), the quicker you see progress. Studies show again and again that going for therapy more often can really speed up your journey to feeling great. Research by experts in the field Erekson and colleagues (2025) and Bruijniks (2020) showed that clients that attended consistent appointments in therapy got better results (Erekson, Lambert, & Eggett, 2015; Bruijniks et al., 2020). Psychology Outcomes analysed their client results from half a decade and saw that all clients that got measurably better had one thing in common; they attended therapy on average every two weeks until they had a final session. Due to this Psychology Outcomes provides only two weekly sessions to all clients, if there is a higher need and weekly is required in between we will provide these at no cost to you. We have your back and are committed to getting you the best results just like the research above.

Mix It Up: Individual + Group Sessions

Mixing individual sessions with group therapy? Now that's a winning combo. It's like getting a workout in different ways to become your strongest self. And the cool part is, research is clear that joining group therapy along with your one-on-one sessions gets measurably better results than just individual therapy alone (Page & Hooke, 2009). Psychology Outcomes takes this research seriously and wants to provide an “all includive clinic” where the fee you pay is for the time and day you have individual therapy and everything else has no cost (e.g., bulk billed). We have a Senior Psychologist that runs a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Group just for this purpose. More importantly its no cost. Many Psychology Outcomes clients take the opportunity to attend this group as they know it doesn’t impact finances and they simply rock up and get skills to improve focus, sleep, mood and anxiety. The MBCT Group is specifically designed so clients don’t have to talk about themselves and their story, simply come while you’re in individual therapy and boost your progress. Email reception@psychologyoutcomes.com if you would like to attend the MBCT Group and Dr Tania Gibbie will call you to provide further information. More info can be found at www.psycholgoyoutcomes.com/MBCT

The Magic Mix: In-Person Meets Telehealth

Life's unpredictable, we get it. That's why mixing in-person therapy with telehealth sessions (yep, those video or phone calls) means you'll never miss a beat. This blend lets you keep up with your therapy journey, even when you're swamped. Research from places like the ACORN Collaboration shows that teletherapy + face-to-face gets better results than face-to-face therapy alone. Why? Because people attend more when they can use telehealth. This result is important and indicates that “coming to the client” when they can’t attend the clinic gets better results. If you can’t attend in-person we understand and you can visit www.psychologyoutcomes.com/telehealth so we make sure we get the therapy happening. Alternatively, we will call you and can do therapy by phone. We really are committed to getting you an outcome! If you are committed to get better we are the right fit for you.

Here's the Psychology Outcomes Difference

We’ve taken all this awesome research and woven it into how we do things at Psychology Outcomes. Our mission? To get you feeling better faster, so you can enjoy life to the fullest.

When you reach out to us, we use science to find the psychologist who's just right for you. We're all about keeping a regular schedule with sessions every two weeks. But hey, if you can't make it in person, we're set up for telehealth (www.psychologyoutcomes.com/telehealth) or phone sessions too.

And because we value your commitment, we reserve your slot every two weeks. Can't make it? We'll have to charge for the session to keep your spot open, but that's because we're committed to ensuring you get the most out of your therapy.

Need a bit more support? If you're craving weekly sessions or want to dip your toes into group therapy, we've got you covered at no extra charge. And when you're ready to wrap up therapy feeling like a champ, we'll not only celebrate with you but also hook you up with a plan to keep you on track. Plus, we'll check in a month later to make sure you're still kicking goals.
